What Happens During a Roof Inspection
A lot of people think an inspection is just a quick glance from the driveway. It is much more than that. When we do a roof inspection, here is what we look at:
The shingles or roofing material. We check for curling, cracks, missing pieces, and worn spots that let water in.
The flashing and seals. Around chimneys, vents, and valleys is where leaks often start, so we look there closely.
The attic and ceiling. Water stains, damp wood, and poor roof ventilation tell us a lot about whats really going on up top.
The roof deck. If we find soft or rotted plywood, we let you know before it spreads.
When we are done, you get straight answers. If your roof is fine, we tell you that. If it needs work, we show you photos so you can see it for yourself.
When Should You Get a Roof Inspection
As you can probably guess, timing matters here in Florida. We suggest a roof inspection after any big storm, once a year for older roofs, and any time you spot a warning sign.
