New roof installed in Groveland FL
AGU Roofing and Solar was out in Groveland FL this week working on a full roof replacement for a residential customer. Our office is in Minneola at 905 Jan-Mar Ct D, but we serve all of Lake County, Seminole County and Orange County with all types of roofing work. This home in Groveland had shingles that were getting worn out from the heat and storms, so the homeowner asked us to replace everything with a new architectural shingle system.

The crew started erly in the morning and removed the old roof down to the wood deck. We checked the decking carefully to make sure there were no soft spots or loose boards. One or two areas needed small repairs, and we fixed those before installing the underlayment. We use a high quality synthetic underlayment because it holds up better than the old paper felt and gives the roof a cleaner finish. After that, we started laying the new shingles and cutting the ridge caps so the roof lines come out straight.

You can see in the photos how even and smooth the new roof looks. The house wasnt not far from Lake David Park, which is a spot many folks around Groveland visit on weekends. Working in neighborhoods like this always feels close to home for us, since we do so many projects around the Groveland and Minneola areas. The homeowner wanted something strong but still nice looking, and the color they picked blends really well with the siding and trem.
